Two Poets |
Welcome to my shrine of the two poets: Christopher WunderLee & A.D. Winans. This site is intended to promote their work and create a community so that it can be discussed. These two poets represent a particular strain of poetry, confessional and emotional expression drafted in words. A.D. Winans is the master of this craft, a figure who looms over a maverick wordscape, ignroes convention and writes with a lyricism that borders on beauty. His poetry is the expression of his unique view of the world, magnified by his artistry. Wunderlee is a lot like A.D. Winans, that's what attracted me to him. He is confessional and cynical, he does not censor himself and allows all his feelings to be explored in his work. But, WunderLee's also interested in the reader's response, he writes in a way that requires us to learn in order to understand through classical allusions and pop-culture references. I am always interested in news about either poet. Please send me any information, this site is always changing. |
